Raw Eve – 30 Days of Raw Food

23 Jan

I normally eat healthier than the average person – as you’ll see by my breakfast tomorrow. I am a vegetarian, and I haven’t eaten meat in almost four years. I always read the ingredients listed on the back of packages at the grocery store, and I try not to eat ingredients I can’t pronounce. I make most of my meals from scratch, and I’ve never relied on pre-made or packaged foods. I love vegetables; I always have, even as a kid. But I also love french fries (which technically…). I’m mindful of what I eat. I occasionally indulge, but on the whole, I eat pretty well.

I like cooking. (Or, in this case, uncooking?). I like combining whatever I happen to have in the fridge and make a meal out of it. And lucky enough for me, I have a partner who’ll eat anything I come up with. So over the next thirty days, follow me as I embark on this raw food adventure. (Rawventure!) I’ll post daily with my physical and emotional status as well as pictures and recipes of what raw food I uncooked that day. I promise it will be more exciting than just some lettuce leaves.
